Is there a fair, concert venue, sports arena, or theater in you area? Work with the promoters of these venues to see if your organzation can have a night where $1 – $5 per ticket is given to your group. By working together, you can help promote the event among your supporters to increase ticket sales. In exchange, your group can provide volunteers to help with parking, ticket taking and concession sales. If the promoters of the event don’t need to hire as many people to work the event, they will be more willing to share a percentage of the ticket sales with you. This could become an annual fundraiser for your organization.
