Looking for a creative fundraiser and a way to beat winter boredom at the same time? Why not have a Board Game Tournament!
- Pick a favorite game, something that is easy to play. Some examples are Sorry, Trouble, Monopoly or Life.
- Assemble 4 person teams that will work together to win the most points.
- Winners can either win a prize such as donated items from local businesses or gift cards (make sure you have 4) or a portion of the proceeds.
- Charge an entry fee for each team.
- Decide if you are going to play with a time limit for each game so that everyone has the same chance and to keep things running on a schedule.
It is also a good idea to have a concession stand with coffee, soda, popcorn, and chips to earn extra money.
