Gather a group of friends and get in the Christmas spirit by going caroling. As you stroll along, collect donations for your charity. Have a few participants carry small collection cans and signs promoting your cause to encourage people to drop in their spare change.
If you like to sing, but don’t have a specific charity that you’d like to sponsor, consider doing some caroling as you staff one of the Salvation Army’s red kettles. Donations to the kettles increase significantly when staffed and go up even higher when folks do a little entertaining around the kettle.
