I love what Oak Valley School did to put a creative twist on an old-fashioned fundraiser. To promote their upcoming lemonade stand, they had teachers bite into a lemon and make a funny “sour face”. Pictures were taken and hung up at the school. Then for two weeks, kids brought in change and placed it in containers to “vote” for their favorite funny face. All proceeds from the vote, as well as the lemonade sale, went to fight childhood cancer.
