Here is a unique fundraising idea….hold a “Honey-Do” community raffle drawing, so named from the familiar… “Honey, would you do this…” phrase heard in many households! Offer a list of services to be raffled off such as lawn mowing, leaf removal, drywall or paint touch up, or even window washing.
Gather a group of “handymen”, professional or not, and other “do-it-yourselfers”. Brainstorm common tasks to be offered, and list the services that will be won on your flyer. Decide the number and levels of winners – one big winner, and you may want to include other smaller prizes(i.e. 1lawn mowing) in this easy fundraiser.
