Teacher Talent Show – “Fun”draiser

Are you raising funds for a school group? Are you looking for a “fun”draiser that will be a good time for all involved? If so, why not consider a Teacher Talent Show!

Ask teachers if the would be willing to showcase any unique “talent” they have.
Once it has been decided which teachers will compete, design and publish a program for your show.
Ask parents for a donation of baked goods or other concessions items to sell to raise more money.
Publicize the event…it can be a great time for everybody PLUS a perfect way to promote school spirit!

Paint Ball Tournament

The only thing that could be better than raising money for your group is to get rid of a little stress while doing so….and have fun while accomplishing both! How about a Paintball Tournament as a unique fundraiser? Organize teams, find a location, charge an entry fee, and decide on a prize for the winning team. This creative fundraiser will work well with any age group but may be especially suited to a group that is populated with teens or young adults.

We all have leftover CDs, DVDs and games lying around that are played out. Something that is old to you just might be a new favorite waiting for somebody else to love. Let your organization profit instead of merely letting the oldies in your collection gather dust! This is an easy fundraising idea that will continue to generate revenue for your cause!

If your school group, church, or club has the space, set up a few shelves on meeting days and offer week-long rentals for $2. Label everything and keep track of who has what. Charge late fees of $5. The fee will be an incentive AND additional income. Only rent to people you know to help ensure you get your item back.

Beat Board-om Fundraiser

Looking for a creative fundraiser and a way to beat winter boredom at the same time? Why not have a Board Game Tournament!

Pick a favorite game, something that is easy to play. Some examples are Sorry, Trouble, Monopoly or Life.
Assemble 4 person teams that will work together to win the most points.
Winners can either win a prize such as donated items from local businesses or gift cards (make sure you have 4) or a portion of the proceeds.
Charge an entry fee for each team.
Decide if you are going to play with a time limit for each game so that everyone has the same chance and to keep things running on a schedule.

It is also a good idea to have a concession stand with coffee, soda, popcorn, and chips to earn extra money.
