People don’t donate to charities, they donate to people. So gather up your friends and invite them to a party at your house for your next fundraising event. Provide refreshments, some entertainment, and of course information about the charity you are supporting. Some attendees may be willing to write a check to your organization during the party. Others may be more inclined to donate during the next appeal process. The idea is to spread goodwill about your organization and increase the number of supporters. Financial donations will then follow.
